By creating an account or using RefStaff you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
RefStaff is a tool that lets leagues and coordinators post games and lets referees and umpires claim them. RefStaff is only a scheduling platform. We are not a party to any agreement between a league and a referee, we don't employ or supervise referees, and we don't guarantee that any game will be staffed, that anyone will show up, or that anyone is qualified.
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Referees confirm at sign-up that they have the experience and/or certification needed for the games they claim; that statement is your own and is not verified by RefStaff.
Any pay for a game is agreed and paid directly between the league and the referee, outside RefStaff. RefStaff does not process, hold, or guarantee those payments, and is not responsible for taxes, employment classification, or disputes over pay. The payout log is a convenience record only.
Referee accounts are currently free.
Don't post false or misleading information, harass or discriminate against others, use profane or abusive language, post games you don't intend to hold, claim games you don't intend to work, scrape the service, or try to break or bypass its security. Repeated no-shows are recorded on your profile and visible to others. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You own what you post, and you give RefStaff permission to store and display it to provide the service. You're responsible for what you post and for having the right to share it.
After a game, the league and the referee can each leave a star rating and optional comment about the other. Reviews are the personal opinions of individual users. RefStaff does not verify them, endorse them, or take responsibility for the quality, conduct, or reliability of any referee, umpire, league, or coordinator. Reviews can't be edited once posted. Don't post reviews that are false, abusive, or retaliatory; we may remove reviews or accounts that break these terms.
RefStaff is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RefStaff is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost games, lost income, or disputes between users, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid RefStaff in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using RefStaff or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use RefStaff means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
